67 Mile Beach, officially known as Wailea Beach, is a popular clothing-optional spot, particularly favored by the gay community. Located on the north side of the bay, Beach 67 is smaller and more secluded than its neighboring Beach 69, making it a preferred destination for those seeking a quieter, more intimate setting.
To reach Beach 67, turn off Highway 19 into Puako Village at Mile Marker 71, then take a right onto Old Puako Road. Access the beach via the gravel road at telephone pole #67, continuing until you reach the bluff. From there, hike down to the cozy cove, which features yellow sand surrounded by striking black rocks and trees. This hidden gem offers a serene and picturesque environment for visitors.
