Jarun Lake, often referred to as “Zagreb’s Sea,” features an official nudist beach that attracts a diverse crowd, including many gay visitors during the summer months. Known as one of Zagreb’s favorite summer hangouts, the area is popular for sunbathing, swimming, and socializing.
Across from the nudist beach lies **Otok Hrvatske Mladeži** (The Island of Croatian Youth), a hotspot for the gay community. To reach the island, cross the bridge at the eastern end of the beach. The prime gay-friendly spots are located in the **southeastern forest** of the island.
Once you cross the bridge, the “gay forest” can be found on the left. Follow the paths leading to the west side of the island, where you’ll find secluded beaches and plenty of natural beauty, offering privacy and a welcoming environment.
