Hundige Strand, also known as Ishøj Strand, is a popular destination south of Copenhagen, offering a mix of sunbathing, swimming in Køge Bay, and cruising. This nudist-friendly beach attracts a diverse crowd, including men, women, and heterosexual couples, and features areas suited to various preferences and activities.
The northern part of the beach is more frequented by gay men, who enjoy the cruising opportunities in a welcoming environment. The beach allows visitors to alternate between swimming in the bay and relaxing on land, creating a refreshing and social experience. While the cruising and nudist areas are mixed, it’s important to respect nearby families and children by keeping activities discreet and maintaining distance.
Access is straightforward: by car, park in the designated lot and walk past the public toilets on the left to reach the cruising area, which stretches from the lifeguard tower toward Ishøj. For public transport users, take bus line 224 to the Hundigevej (Hundige Strandvej) stop, followed by an 800-meter walk along Hundige Havnevej to the beach.
