This spot attracts a diverse crowd, including hipster dudes, enlisted military men looking for discretion, naked surfers, older men, and individuals from various ethnic backgrounds. While many choose to wear only a hat or flip-flops, not everyone is fully nude, though the opportunity to go au naturel is often embraced.

To reach this beach, drive two miles past the Basilone Road exit and take the exit at the Scenic Overlook. You can park there for up to eight hours. From the overlook, look for the path that leads directly down to the gay beach.
