Rangers do not bother nude bathers at this beach located on the southwest extension of Martha’s Vineyard, New England. Accessible only by ferry, boats depart from New Bradford, Woods Hole, and Hyannis Port, docking at Vineyard Haven on the north side of the island. From there, buses are available to Gay Head.
Upon arrival, visitors need to rent a car, motorbike, or bicycle and travel along Old Country Road for about 6 miles. Then, turn right onto South Road and continue for another 12 miles through Gay Head. Finally, turn left onto Moshup Trail, park at Moshup Beach, and walk 1/4 mile to the right along the beach.
