Technically located in La Jolla, just under 30 minutes north of downtown San Diego, Black’s Beach is officially part of Torrey Pines State Beach. This expansive beach became a nude beach in the 1970s and remains one of the largest nude beaches in the country. On a typical summer day, you’ll find a mix of locals, including residents from Hillcrest and the UCSD gay community.
