Welcome to the Jungle Gayborhood, an LGBTQ+ focused retreat center and boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Costa Rican jungle. Our bamboo retreat is just a short hike from the Diamante River, where you can enjoy bathing in spectacular pools and waterfalls. Completed in December 2022, our cabins are handmade primarily from bamboo, offering protection from the elements and enclosed in mosquito netting while providing open-air access to stunning jungle views.

All cabins share a beautifully crafted bamboo bathhouse and shower facilities. Our mission is to create a home for the queer community, inspiring personal exploration, radical self-expression, and a sense of connection with oneself, the community, and nature. We actively cultivate practices that support these goals through embodiment practices, sacred plant ceremonies, permaculture, and sacred sexuality, including sensual massage, tantra, and consent-based positive sexual spaces.
