Whaling Cove, located just 5 kilometers from Albany’s town center, is a serene and picturesque beach on the east side of the Vancouver Peninsula, overlooking the tranquil waters of King George Sound. Backed by a steeply sloping, forested hillside, this sandy cove offers a peaceful escape with natural beauty as its highlight.
Though not officially designated as clothing-optional, Whaling Cove is lightly frequented, and nudity is common among visitors. However, discretion is advised, particularly when textile beachgoers are present. The beach is easily accessible, with a car park and public toilets available for convenience, making it a charming and secluded spot to unwind.
