Since 2009, nudism has been prohibited in Cannes. However, Batterie Beach remains exclusively designated for nudists. Consequently, it stands as the sole beach in Cannes where nudism is permitted.
If you are driving from Cannes, proceed east on Route N7 for several kilometers. Plage de la Batterie will be located just prior to the town of Golfe-Juan. You will recognize the beach when you encounter a Shell Station on the northern (left) side of the road. Immediately before the station, there is a parking area.
Nudity is not obligatory, but the majority of individuals there are nude. It appears that gay men frequent either end of the beach, while heterosexual individuals tend to remain in the central portion of the beach.
