After a 20-minute stroll, you’ll find yourself at the gay beach, where you can head to the south side to avoid the beach club Eldorado. There’s even a naked area for those who prefer to be unclothed. In the summer months, this beach becomes the vibrant center of Amsterdam’s gay scene, with people splashing around naked or in speedos. While there have been increased patrols by local government in recent years, the beach still offers plenty of action on a hot and sunny day (summer only).
