Papamoa Beach, located in the Bay of Plenty, is one of New Zealand’s longest-standing and most popular nudist beaches, where you are free to embrace naturism. While it’s primarily visited by men for nude sunbathing, on weekends, particularly hot days, you may also see nude male/female couples. To reach the designated “nude zone” of the beach, drive along Papamoa Beach Road and park on the grass verge opposite the beach access boardwalk, situated between Sandhurst Drive and Oceania Sands Way. The area is known for cruising in the dunes and beneath a large pine tree, offering a private and welcoming space for naturists.
