Ardeer Beach, located on the southwest coast of the Scottish mainland in Ayrshire, is an official nude beach that has long been a favorite among naturists and gay men. Despite some local opposition, marked by the removal of “Nudist Beach” signs installed in 2015, the beach continues to attract large numbers of visitors during good summer weather.
Access involves navigating a rough track for the last couple of hundred yards by car, or alternatively parking farther away and walking to the beach. Most naturists tend to head along to the first pile of rocks before disrobing, though some opt to strip off at their car and enjoy the walk along the beach nude. Ardeer Beach remains a relaxed and welcoming spot for naturists seeking a tranquil coastal experience.
