This nude sunbathing meadow and swimming hole near the popular Russian River gay resort area is a favorite spot, especially among gay men. To reach this secluded spot, take the River Road exit toward Guerneville from US 101. Head west on River Road for about 7.5 miles, then turn right onto Wohler Road and continue for 1.4 miles. Just before the bridge over the Russian River, you’ll see a green steel gate with a large “Keep Clear” sign.

Park and walk along the paved road behind the green gate for about 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for a trail on the right side. Follow this trail until you reach a clearing along the river, where you’ll find a sandy area where nudists typically gather. This peaceful and scenic spot offers a relaxed environment for sunbathing and swimming in the company of like-minded individuals.
