Honokohau Harbor Beach, located in Kona’s Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, is one of Hawaii’s most stunning nude beaches, particularly popular with gay beachgoers. To get there from Kona, head north on Highway 19 towards the Kona Airport. Just outside of town, look for the Honokohau Boat Harbor sign and turn left (makai) towards Maliu Point and the entrance to the small boat harbor.
Once there, walk along the shoreline heading north until you come across a welcoming crowd. The far end of the beach is known as the gay-friendly area, offering a relaxed and accepting atmosphere amidst the beautiful surroundings.
