Waimairi Beach, located in the northeastern part of suburban Christchurch, offers a long stretch of beach backed by a forest. To reach the part of the beach preferred by gay men, turn right just before reaching the end of Heyders Road, and park a bit past the surf club. From there, walk south along the beach (to the right when facing the water) to find the gay nude zone of the beach. This area provides a secluded spot for naturists to enjoy the sun and surf.
