Playalinda Beach, located on Florida’s stunning Space Coast, is just minutes from Cape Canaveral, the Kennedy Space Center, and the famous Cocoa Beach. This hidden gem within the Canaveral National Seashore is one of the area’s best-kept secrets, cherished by locals for its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere.
At Parking Lot 13, you’ll find a spot just steps away from where around 100 men and women enjoy nude sunbathing daily, with even larger crowds on weekends. Although public nudity is technically illegal in Brevard County, locals have been coming here for decades to sunbathe nude. Park rangers occasionally pass by on four-wheelers, often waving or stopping for a friendly chat, making it clear that this unofficial tradition is warmly tolerated.
