Praia Olho de Boi is the only nude beach in Buzios, renowned for being the most popular official nude beach in Brazil for gay men. Located on the eastern shore of the Buzios peninsula, it’s a smaller and somewhat secluded beach.
Reaching Praia Olho de Boi requires a 20-minute walk starting from Praia Brava. From the right end of Praia Brava, a trail leads you up and over a hill to the beach. It’s important to wear good walking shoes for this trek. Once you arrive, be prepared to strip off all your clothes, as the beach is strictly clothing-optional. The remote nature of the beach, combined with its clear rules on nudity, creates a unique and liberating environment for its visitors.
