Barra Seca is the only nude beach in Espírito Santo State, located in São Mateus, approximately 60 kilometers north of Linhares and 200 kilometers north of Vitória. Managed by the NatES (Naturist Congregation of the State of Espírito Santo), the beach enforces a strict nudity policy in its main family area, where all visitors are required to be nude.

In contrast, nudism is optional around the periphery of the beach, allowing visitors who prefer not to be in the main nudist area to find a more relaxed spot. This arrangement provides options for both those who wish to fully embrace naturism and those who prefer a less strictly nudist environment.
